Teena also leaves to mourn a large family of her aunts, numerous cousins, and many friends.

Teena is predeceased by her parents, John and Bertha Logodin; her brother, Wade Logodin; her nephew, Brian Soloducha; her brother-in-law, Lee Horne; and her special puppy, Henrietta.

Teena was born on February 19, 1966, to John and Bertha Logodin, and grew up on the family farm in the White Star area. She started her schooling at Red Wing School and then went to Wesmor School for junior high. She graduated high school from Carlton Comprehensive High School and completed her U of S studies with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

She had a successful career in business at Grand & Toy, Flaman Sales, CJVR Radio, the City of Prince Albert Tourist Information Centre, the Prince Albert Exhibition Association (where her favourite task was organizing “Focus on Women”), and Provincial Corrections.

Teena will be remembered as a fun and hip auntie with her funky hair colours and sparkly accessories, her witty humour, and her fabulous Halloween costumes. Teena is also remembered by a very special group of friends from her junior high years until the present time. Teena had a very competitive nature, excelling in sports at Red Wing and Wesmor schools, playing fun card and board games with the family, and crazy drinking games with her friends! She even won the family horseshoe tournament in 1983 with her brother-in-law, Lee Horne.

Teena loved to travel, beginning at the early age of 11, when she rode the bus with Corinne to Yellowknife to visit Dale and his family! Next came a family trip to Disney World, Florida in 1979. She went on many camping trips in northern SK and AB, and two trips to BC – one to Expo ‘86 in Vancouver, the other to Vancouver Island with wine tours along the way! She also enjoyed two trips to Hawaii, two trips to Mexico, and a work trip to San Diego & area. Her last trip was with her sisters to New York City where she enjoyed the Broadway plays, the food, and, of course, the shopping!

Teena was a cancer survivor after beating a breast cancer diagnosis in 2015. Her family and friends rallied around her with support and prayers. Unfortunately, Teena’s health declined in another way as she struggled with mental illness in the last years of her life. This was a quiet battle that ultimately kept her from many of her loved ones. Although this illness contributed to Teena’s decline and her untimely natural passing, her family and friends choose to remember her as the smart, witty, and loving sister, auntie, and friend they knew her to be.

Teena will be laid to rest in the White Star Cemetery, with her parents and brother at a later time in the spring. In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Teena may be made to the Prince Albert SPCA, 1125 North Industrial Drive, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T1. The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and all hospital staff at the Victoria Hospital. We would like to thank Beau “Lac” Funeral Home for their great help to our family at this difficult time.
