Obituary of Muriel Flora Albert

Flora Muriel Albert late of Prince Albert passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert on August 19, 2012 at the age of 80 years. Flora was born on September 26, 1931 to Gilbert Isbister and Charlotte Sanderson. Flora is survived by her common law partner Edward Cox of Prince Albert, her sons Guy Albert of Regina, Randy & Rose Albert of Prince Albert and Dean & Stacey Albert of Prince Albert. Her daughters Denise & Al Ahenakew of Prince Albert, Sharon Martin of Sandy Lake, Debbie & John Ahenakew of Sandy Lake, Lynn Albert of Prince Albert, Wanda Albert of Prince Albert, and Cindy & Dale Albert of Muskoday. Her brothers Angus, Harry, Ronnie and Clifford Bird, and Vernon & Nancy all of Little Red River Reserve, and Vern & Wilma Isbister of Saskatoon, her sisters Mary Primeau of prince Albert and Valerie Harper of Saskatoon, her 28 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Flora was predeceased by her mother Charlotte & George Bird, her father Gilbert Isbister, her daughter Gail Charlotte Peekeekoot and sons in law Roy Peekeekoot, Hector Nanecassum, Glenn Vandall and Joel Halkett, her great grandchild Brendan Vandall and her sister Wilma Bird, as well as her father and mother in law Frank & Lizzy Cox. The Prayer Service for Flora took place on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. from Beau"Lac" Funeral Home with Marjorie Hyman leading the prayers. The Wake Service for Flora took place on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service for Flora took place on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. Interment will take place in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery.
