Obituary of Thomas Lawrence Murray
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Lawrence Murray on Septemeber 5th, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Tom was born on May 13, 1929. He lived most of his life in Leoville and surrounding area. He attended the Cresent Ridge School. Tom took over his Dad's farm in Capasin when his parents moved to Penn. In 1966, the year his parents moved to Saskatoon, Tom sold his land in Capasin to take over his parent's farm in Penn. He also worked at Vimy Tower and in Chitek Lake for the D.N.R. In 2001 Tom retired to Leoville. He loved the outdoors; he enjoyed camping and quading as well as reading. Funeral Service was held Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 ~ 2:00 pm from the St. Paul's Anglican Church in Timberland, Saskatchewan. Tom's final resting place is in the Timberland Cemetery. Memorial donations in Tom's memory may be made to the St. Paul's Anglican Church. Tom leaves to cherish his memory : his brother-in-law, Charles Fox of BC, his nieces and nephews: Kim Conway of BC, Vanda Conway of Regina, SK, Patricia Conway of Calgary, AB, Cameron Conway of Regina, SK and numerous friends and other relatives. He is predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Abigail Murray and his sister, Verna Fox. Email condolences will be forwarded to the family.
