Obituary of Iver Seierstad

With heavy hearts and fond memories Iver's family annouces his passing. Iver left us on September 18, 2012. Funeral Service for Iver was held on Saturday, September 22nd, 2012 at 10:30am from the Heritage Hall, Zion Lutheran Church, in Saskatoon, SK. Interment followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon. Iver Seierstad was born May 29, 1928 and passed away Sept 18, 2012. Iver moved with his family from Parkbeg to Eldersly in 1934. He left home at an early age to work in BC on heavy duty machinery - he owned his own cat. Iver met Carmel in approx. 1975-1976 they were married on Dec 23, 1977. They lived in Prince George until their retirement in Westbank BC before coming to retire in Saskatoon in the early 90's. They enjoyed travelling, camping, gardening and bowling with good friends. Iver bowled in two leagues and was the top scorer of the province in his league in 1993-1994 Other hobbies of Iver's were following the news and stock markets. As a quiet reserved man he enjoyed Carmel's cooking to the fullest.
