Obituary of Violet Haroldson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Violet Mary Haroldson of Shell Lake, SK on the 22nd day of September 2012 at the age of 92 years. The funeral service for Violet was held on Wednesday, September 26th, 2012 at 1:00 pm from the Lion's Hall in Shell Lake, SK with Reverend David Jensen officiating. She leaves to cherish her memories: Her children: ~ Jerri (Gary) Olson-Taylor of Shell Lake, SK ~ Marvis Olson (Greg Ball) of Calgary, AB ~ Dean (Irene) Olson of Kitchener, ON ~ Rob (Deb) Olson of Kelowna, BC Her step-children: ~ Shirley (Joe) Kawchuk of Saskatoon, SK ~ Vern Haroldson (Dorothy Brotzel) of Regina, SK ~ Barry (Kathy) Haroldson Her daughter-in-law, Jane Olson of Saskatoon, SK Her sister-in-law, Madeline Lacey of Victoria, BC Numerous grand/step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by: Her parents, James and Martha Lacey Her 1st husband, Larry Olson Her 2nd husband, Henry Haroldson Her son, Jim Her brothers, Bob Lacey and Bill (Lorna) Lacey Her sister, Mabel (Ernie) Reed Violet Mary Haroldson passed away peacefully at the University Hospital with her family at her bedside. Vi was well known for her love of sewing and helping others. Vi spent her last years dividing her time travelling amongst her family.
