Marianne Turcotte & Mark Muir, Co-Owners


Marianne Turcotte - Co-Owner


Marianne has worked in the funeral service industry since 2002 and has been with Beau "Lac" since 2013.  Marianne and her business partner Mark Muir are co-owners of Beau "Lac" Funeral Home and Crematorium. There are so many things that Marianne loves about working at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home:

Her amazing co-workers that treat every family as if they were their own. The business is family owned and operated and that means decisions are made with the best interest of families in mind.

Marianne and her husband Travis have 2 beautiful little girls; Charlee  and Addie. When Marianne isn't busy running the business and helping families she enjoys gardening, shopping, warm holidays with family, and days spent at the lake.

Mark Muir - Co-Owner


Mark began his career in Funeral Service just 3 days after he graduated from high school in 1990.  He became partners with Marianne at Beau "Lac" in 2017.  Mark wears many hats and helps run things in the rural communities out of the Spiritwood office.  He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, salesperson, and the crematorium technician. Mark has served two terms on the Saskatchewan Funeral Association Board and was elected to the Funeral and Cremation Services Council of Saskatchewan in 2020.  He enjoys helping families in their time of need, and believes the staff he works with are amazing! Mark and his wife Sheri have 2 daughters, Sara and Morgan, and a grandson named Kaiden. When Mark isn't at work he enjoys doing everything that comes along with living in small town Saskatchewan.

Sheri Muir – Co-Owner /Floral Specialist


Sheri is both a Co-Owner and our “go to” person for any type of floral arrangement need.  She has been with Beau “Lac” Funeral Home since 2017 and enjoys assisting the families they serve.  Sheri also appreciates the helpful and friendly nature of her great co-workers and employees.  Sheri and her husband Mark have two daughters, Sara and Morgan, and a grandson, Kaiden.  When she is not working, Sheri loves spending time in her garden, playing golf, crafting, going for walks, playing with her puppy Steve, and spending time with family.

Delores Beaulac- Certified Funeral Celebrant /Funeral Director -Embalmer

If it wasn't for Delores, Beau "Lac" Funeral Home might not be around today. Delores and her husband George started the business back in 1994! Sadly, shortly after starting the business George passed away. Delores has had just about every role you can imagine within the business at one time or another. She enjoys officiating funerals and helping families through a difficult time in their lives. Delores loves the comradery of the staff, and says they are like one big family. Delores has 2 children and 7 grandchildren.  Away from work Delores is involved with seniors curling in Shellbrook, is part of the Prairie Community Endeavors board, loves camping, being outdoors in the summertime, and spending time with her dogs.

Donna Lovberg – Funeral Director - Pre-Need Counsellor


Donna has been part of the Beau “Lac” Funeral Home team for the past 14 years.  Prior to that she spent 12 years at Shellbrook Funeral Home.  She loves to meet new people and help them in their greatest time of need.  Donna feels the management and staff at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home are just like a family.  She feels her co-workers are amazing and that the love and care offered to each family is like nothing she has ever witnessed.  Donna, and her late husband Lorne, have a daughter Marcy, and a son Mark (Becky); and two grandchildren, Shae and Blake.  When she is not working Donna enjoys visiting with friends and family, walking, biking and shopping.  She also enjoys bible study and the work she does at her church.

Lori Saam – Funeral Director -Embalmer


Lori is a Funeral Director and Embalmer who has worked at Beau "Lac" Funeral Home since 2011.  In 2017, she transitioned to part time. Lori loves the rewarding feeling that comes from helping families in their time of need. Lori says her co-workers are awesome, and her bosses are the best of the best! She loves the professional and fun atmosphere. Lori and her forever love Iain have 5 children; Bobby, Dylan, Kayla, Trevor, and Logan. When Lori isn't at work she enjoys fishing, cooking, spending time with her family and loved ones, and doing energy work...she is a Reiki master!

Lynn Anderson – Funeral Director - Embalmer

Lynn started with Beau "Lac" Funeral Home in October of 2018.  Lynn became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 2021.  She loves her co-workers and the mentorship that she gets at Beau "Lac", and truly appreciates working with each family and helping them in their time of need. Lynn and her husband Darwin have 3 children, two girls, Emily and Jennie, and a son Nathan.  When she isn't at work Lynn enjoys reading, going camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Lorne Adams - Funeral Director


Lorne has been a mainstay in funeral service in Prince Albert for the past 27 years, the last 6 of these with Beau "Lac". Lorne is a terrific Funeral Director who enjoys working at Beau "Lac" because he is able to help families in their time of need, and he gets to work with some pretty amazing people. Lorne and his wife Debby have 2 daughters; Lindy and Nicole, and are proud grandparents to granddaughter Millie! When Lorne is away from work he enjoys biking, working out, and exercise, along with any time he gets to spend with family and friends!

Tammy Smart - Funeral Director -Embalmer


Tammy has been with Beau “Lac” Funeral Home in Shellbrook since 2008. Prior to that she worked as a journeyman hairstylist in Prince Albert. Tammy enjoys working with the Beau “Lac” team, the leadership and fellow staff who make the atmosphere feel truly like a second family. Each of the team members strength help serve every family as if they are helping a member of their own family. Tammy feels honoured to have the opportunity to personally impact people’s lives during one of their most difficult and challenging times.  Tammy grew up on a farm north of Prince Albert and currently lives in Shellbrook with her husband Jody, her son Caleb, and their miniature dachshund Beana!  When she is not at work you will find Tammy enjoying the great outdoors, helping on the family farm, in her garden, or fishing in La Ronge at the family cabin. Tammy is a self-taught artist and belongs to the Prince Albert Aurora Art Group. As well, she is a long-standing member of the Shellbrook Kinette Club and now and then sneaks in a few acting roles as a member of the local Shellbrook Theatre Group.

Tracy-Lynn Lenchuk "T-L" -
Funeral Director-Embalmer / Certified Funeral Celebrant


T-L has been in the funeral industry since 2010. She has worked at Beau "Lac" since June of 2018.  Aside from being our comic relief she is a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer, Certified Funeral Celebrant, Cremation Technician, and a trained End of Life Doula. 

T-L loves the supportive leadership at Beau "Lac" Funeral Home.  Being a part of the team allows her to combine her 2 passions: helping people and making a difference in the communities we serve. T-L and her husband Ed have 4 adult children a grandson and identical twin granddaughters. T-L and Ed have a small hobby farm south of Prince Albert where they raise chickens and cattle. T-L is the current Director of Victim Services for the Prince Albert Chapter of MADD and is completing her Diploma in Grief Counselling.

Betty Ann Mykietiak  - 
Family Service Specialist / Cremation Technician 


Betty is a family service specialist who has been working at Beau "Lac" Funeral Home for the past 2 years. She loves the people she works for. Betty also loves helping people through a difficult time in their life. She enjoys meeting new people and learning about their families. Betty has 3 adult children; Rodney, Jennifer and Tania. When she isn't working Betty enjoys being in her garden, quilting, crocheting, and riding her horse as much as possible.

Patty Heisler – Family Service Specialist


Patty is our go to person for unique, meaningful, and creative memorial cards. She loves the creativity she can express when setting up a lasting memorial card. Patty is also a gifted musician and singer who uses her talents during services for families as requested. Patty has been working at Beau "Lac" Funeral Home since 2011. Patty loves working as part of the amazing team at Beau "Lac", and calls her co-workers her second family. Patty and her husband Gerald have 3 adult sons; Jordan, Michael (Brittany), and Elliot. They also have a grandson and granddaughter who they absolutely adore! When she isn't working Patty enjoys spending time with friends, family, and extended family and if they can spend time together camping that is a huge plus. Music in any way, form, or fashion is Patty's passion and she plays and sings wherever and whenever the opportunity arises.

Renée Phaneuf - Funeral Director - Embalmer


Renée joined the Funeral Industry in 2014, and gained her embalming license in 2016, followed by her Funeral Directing License in 2018. She joined the Beau “Lac” team in 2021 and loves the friendly and supportive atmosphere. Renée is a very talented restorative artist and is passionate about providing families with a beautiful final farewell of their loved ones.

Renée lives on an acreage north of Prince Albert with her parents, and daughter Adanna, as well as her four “barn” cats. When not at work, Renée can be found chasing deer out of her garden, sewing elaborate doll clothes, building dollhouses, playing outside with her daughter, and cross country skiing. Her summers are spent at the family cabin at Waskesiu.

Jolissa “Jo” Trudel - Funeral Director Student

Jolissa Trudel joined the Beau “Lac” team in 2023. Previously, she worked as a cook, and she holds her Journeyman in the trade. Jo is currently studying Funeral Directing through Mount Royal University and revels in learning all she can from her many knowledgeable and experienced co-workers. Jo considers it a privilege to serve families in their difficult times. Furthermore, she takes her role of honouring the memory and life of a departed loved one personally. Jo grew up just north of Prince Albert, SK, and has a deep love for the beauty of the region and its people. When she is not assisting families, Jo can be found enjoying many creative pursuits such as painting, baking, brewing, and music. 

Fred Pomrenk – Funeral Director -Embalmer

1951-2021

Fred is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer here at Beau "Lac" Funeral Home. Fred has been a part of the Beau "Lac" Family for over 9 years now.  He loves working with families and helping them celebrate their loved ones and providing support during a time of grief.  He takes pride in bringing peace to a family by making their loved one look as much like themselves as possible.  Fred loves his co-workers and the strong team environment.  Fred is a talented musician who plays the piano. Fred and his wife Margaret enjoy spending time outdoors cross-country skiing, visiting family and friends as well as bible study and discussions. Sadly after years of service to his community, Fred passed away October 15, 2021.
