Obituary of Perry Burns

Donald "Perry" Burns was born on February 1st, 1962 and grew up in Prince Albert.  He went to Connaught School and played hockey for the East End Rangers and cheered for the New York Rangers all his life.  He was an avid outdoorsman; fishing, golfing, and spending time at the lake with family.  He was the second youngest in the Burns family.  He was married to Kavia and they were together for 30 years. He had 9 children, 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  At the time of his passing, he enjoyed working at the PAGC Spiritual Healing Lodge, he loved his work there. Perry passed on June 19, 2023 in Prince Albert SK.

There will be a Public Visitation on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at 7:00PM at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, 300B - 300 Marquis Road West, Prince Albert SK. A Wake in Perry’s honour will commence Thursday June 22, 2023, at 6:00PM; followed by a Funeral Service on Friday June 23, 2023, 11:00AM at Parkland Hall, 1511 9 Ave W, Prince Albert SK. Interment will take place at St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, James Smith Cree Nation SK. Perry’s family invites his family and friends to lunch at Parkland Hall following the interment.
