Obituary of Shirley Joan Oreel

Mrs. Shirley Oreel 1934 - 2013 On Friday, October 11, 2013 Mrs. Shirley Joan Oreel passed away at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre Care Home at the age of 79 years. Shirley was born on February 20, 1934 in Prince Albert, SK., and raised in the Mayview District. Shirley married Henry Oreel on August 14, 1953. After moving a few times, they finally retired to the Cookson District. She always had time for kids’ activities and loved doing crafts and caring for her garden. Shirley was truly loved and is going to be dearly missed by all of her family. Shirley is lovingly survived by her husband Henry; her sons Keith (Sandra) Oreel and their children Jami (Kaleb) Motz, Scott Kristoffersen, Lisa (Jarid) Johnson, Leah Oreel; Kevin (Beverly) Oreel and their children Daniel (Rita) Oreel and children Jacy, Kylie, and Ava; and T.J. (Alicia) Oreel; her sister June Boden and countless friends she has made throughout her life. Shirley is predeceased by her parents, and her brother Doug Moore. The Funeral Service for Shirley will take place on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Knox United Church in Shellbrook with Rev. Nora Vedress officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Stratychuk, Eddie Remy and Eldon Remy. Active Pallbearers will be Jack Langford, David Boden, Darrel Boden, John Caldwell, Ted Campbell, and Darrel Oreel. Interment will take place in the Alingly Cemetery.
