Clarence Trent Martin 1979 -2013 Clarence Trent Martin passed away on November 26, 2013 in the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. at the age of 34 years. Trent was born on September 1, 1979 in Shellbrook, SK. to Clarence and Diane Martin. Trent leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Diane Martin of Ahtahkakoop First Nation, his two sisters; Tammy Martin of Saskatoon, SK., Leanne (Chester Whitstone) Martin of Onion Lake, SK., his nieces and nephews, Keisha, Krysta, Treyvon, Regan, Paris, Ronald, Zennon, Hunter, Rachel and Lucas; his numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and all his special friends who helped him through all his trials. Trent was predeceased by; his father, Clarence, his paternal grandparents, Charles and Eileen Nayneecassum and his maternal grandparents, Edmond and Mary Peekeekoot. The Wake services commenced on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ahtahkakoop School Gym. The Funeral Service was held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall with Rev. Marj Hyman officiating. The Eulogist was Leo Proulx. The Sandy Lake Choir lead the hymns. The Pallbearers were: “His adopted brothers”, Kyle Ahenakew, Roddy Masuskapoe, Dan Masuskapoe, Ron John Tootoosis, Kevin Bighead, Shawn Waldner. The interment was in St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery on Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
