Obituary of Chalifour Daniel

It is with deep love and affection that the family sadly announces the passing of Daniel Joseph Chalifour, husband, father and best friend on October 6, 2006 at the age of 60. Daniel was predeceased by his parents Pierre and Marie Helene Chalifour, sister Lucille Bonneau and brother in law Jean Bonneau and sister in law Iona Chalifour. He is survived by his son Rodrique (Andrea Allen) and wife Theresa Chalifour; brothers Rosaire, Roland (Linda), Maurice (Olivette), Conrad (Carol) and a sister, Aurore (Allan) Eden as well as many nieces and nephews. Daniel was a salesman for many years at Eaton's, Continental and Defher Furniture. His favorite things were cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders and his love of animals. He liked projects such as building decks, fences and repairing various household items. He will be sadly missed by all. The prayer service was held on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. from St. Therese R.C. Church in Leoville, SK. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, Oct. 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Therese R.C. Church with Rev. Fr. Lennard Sabio as the celebrant. The music director was Phil Marion. The cross bearer was Reginald Chalifour and the eulogy was ready by Theresa and Rodrique. Active pallbearers were Rosaire Chalifour, Roland Chalifour, Maurice Chalifour, Conrad Chalifour, Al Eden and David Chalifour. Honorary pall bearers were all relatives and friends who shared in Daniel's life. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Daniel was laid to rest in the Leoville Cemetery.
