Dear June and Family:
We were profoundly saddened to hear of Byrnne’s death. We wish to extend to you and all your family our sincere condolences.
Byrnne was an exceptional person, one who gave thoughtful contributions to our society, and who principally placed the values of his wife and family before all else.
I greatly appreciated his love of literature and his poetry and I think the “Epitaph on a Friend” by Robert Burns so aptly describes the essence of Byrnne (who was, I think, a true Scot at heart).
An honest man here lies at rest,
The friend of man, the friend of truth,
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm’d,
Few heads with knowledge so inform’d;
If there’s another world, he lives in bliss;
If there is none, he made the best of this.
Our Blessings to you, June and to your children who will be a source of strength and support for you in the future. Our deepest sympathies to you all at this difficult time. We have only the fondest of memories for you and for Byrnne, and truly mourn his loss.
