Jean Elizabeth Klics 1946 – 2014 Born April 9th, 1946 to Marguerite and Bill Teer, the third of four children, grew up on the farm north of Witchekan Lake. Jean attended the Twin Bay School until it closed and then attended school in Spiritwood. Jean married David Klics on September 4th, 1971 and raised three children together, Ian, Tammy and Shannon, who gave them five grandchildren to treasure. In her life time, Jean worked as a hairdresser for many years; she was very particular with her hair, known to never have a hair out of place, even at hunting camp. Her second career was as a Food Service worker in the Spiritwood Health Complex. This second career fit her well as she loved to cook and bake. Jean loved to visit and always welcomed family and friends with goodies, baking and refreshments. Jean always showed an interest in what was going on with and what her family had been up too, she always had a laugh for you. She loved to bake bread, cakes, cookies, cinnamon twists and then her greatest joy was sharing them with her kids, grandkids, and extended family. Jean was also known to really enjoy spending time at their cabin, camping at hunting time and camping at Clearwater Lake. Gardening was another favorite; she loved her potatoes and tomatoes. The Old Time Dance Party was another favorite of Jeans, her and Dave were known to float across the dance floor many a time, with their smooth and graceful dance moves.
