Obituary of Walter J Tipton
Surrounded by his family at home Walt Tipton passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 14 at the age of 64 . Walt is predeceased by: his father, Harry Tipton, his parents-in-law, William and Carrie Chipman. Walt is lovingly remember by his wife, Deborah “Deby”, Spiritwood, SK, his children and grandchildren: Don (Carmen) and sons, TJ and Sam, Spiritwood, SK; Tina and children, Tanner, Bri, Brady and Tyson, Cold Lake, AB; David (Cindy) and children, Ty, Brooke and Megan, Athabasca, AB,his mother, Sally Tipton, Spiritwood, SK, his siblings: Donna (Don) Woodworth, North Battleford, SK, Les (Louise) Tipton, Saskatoon, SK,Bruce (Marge) Tipton, North Battleford, SK, Norm (Shelley) Tipton, Saskatoon, SK, Brent (Brenda) Tipton, Spiritwood, SK, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends. There are too many great memories to list so I ask everyone to remember dad in their own way. Whether it be the oil rigs or the rodeoing when he was younger or farming and cattle ranching or camp boss that he made a living with. Walt spent many years playing and then coaching; hockey, fastball and slow pitch and many years as 4-H leader. Remember the tractor pulls, the weekend excursions, the chicken runs and frys, the camping trips, and most of all the card playing, he loved it all and made sure everyone had fun. Don't think that Walt's life was shorted or that he was cheated early, he lived life to the fullest and did the best and most that he could with what he had. He always tried to spend time and do things with his family and friends as often as he could. Remember him for his great personality, his goofy antics and jokes and his contagious smile, and that he loved us all with all his heart.
