Lorraine and family:
I want to extend my sincere condolences on the loss of Ken. Over the past 15 months I have had the privilege of spending many hours with Ken and getting to know him quite well. It never ceased to amaze me that, despite his health, he always had a true concern for both the hospital staff and his fellow patients. Ken always made sure that everyone involved in any aspect of his care was praised and thanked - from his nurses to dietary staff - Ken always had a warm smile and a heartfelt "thank-you". It is this gracious nature and unconditional positive attitude that I will remember the most. Please know that it was my sincere pleasure to be able to care for and get to know both Ken and yourself. While I never had the opportunity to meet your children or grandchildren, please pass on my condolences to them all as well.
My thoughts have been with you and will continue to be with you as you deal with this loss.
