Obituary of Adele Scott

Adele Helen Theresa Scott (nee Larson) 1947-2014 Adele was born in Prince Albert Aug 3 1947, and passed away October 3rd, 2014 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 67. Adele was raised and went to school in Shellbrook. She married Walter Scott in 1971 and they moved to Victoria BC for 2 years, moving to Saskatoon for the next 27 years before moving back to Shellbrook. Adele worked in the Service industry as a waitress until she started in Tax preparation where she eventually became an instructor for a number of years. In her latter years she continued with Tax preparation on her own and helped the elderly at a care home until she wasn't able to do the work due to health problems of her own. Adele had a great sense of humour, loved being outdoors in the garden with her husband, playing cards with their friends and sitting back and sharing stories over drinks. Adele had great affection for her family; her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Adele is lovingly remembered by: her husband, Walter Scott, her son, Bradley Larson-Scott (Candace), her step-daughter, Diana Scott (Joanne), her step-son, Brian MacKinnon (Denise), her grandchildren: Tara Scott, Martin Scott, Dane Scott, Samuel Papp, Josiah Papp, Charlie Papp , Chase MacKinnon, her great grandchildren: Tabitha Schulz, Owen Rahm, her siblings: Jeannette Gordon, Allan Larson, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, her sisters-in-law: Marjorie Reimer (Ray), Ina Scott (Jim, Deceased), Dianna Scott (Bill, Deceased) Adele is predeceased by her: parents, Martin Larson (1982) and Bertha Larson (2001), sister, Beverly Larson (1945), son, Owen Larson (1968), parents-in-law, Ernest Scott and Flora Scott, several brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles A Graveside Service was held Saturday, October 25th, 2014 at the Concordia Cemetery, Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, Officiated by Pastor Chris Dean. Memorial Donations in memory of Adele may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
