Obituary of Denis Lawrence Chretien

Dennis Chretien 1940-2014 Denis was 73 when he passed away peacefully at the RUH in Saskatoon on Oct 18/2014. A Mass of Christian Burial took place on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 at 2:00pm from the St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Debden, SK. Denis is lovingly remembered by: His children: Irene (Nile) Cyr and their children: Renelle (Steve), Réal (Jillian), Rhealyn (Gord) and their daughter, Iris; Guy (Connie) Chretien and their children: Caid and Roan; Sylvie-Anne (Shane) Watts and their children: Shayanne and Shanna; his siblings: Henri (Rosilda) Chretien and Marilyn Chretien; his siblings-in-law: Armand Pouliot and Yolande (Rene) Charrois, Doris (Mike) Struhar; Luc Dore; Yvette Dore; and numerous nephews and nieces and other relatives. Denis is predeceased by: his wife, Noella Chretien, his parents, Omer and Adelia Chretien, his parents-in-law, Charles and Flora Dore, his brothers, Réal Chretien and Patrick Chretien, his sisters, Fernande Pouliot and Monique Chretien, his siblings-in-law, Lucille Marie and Elizabeth Dore in infancy; Roland; Leon (Darlene); Bob Bernier. Denis loved the lake life, nature, but most of all spending time with his bestfriend, his dog Queen. Often referred to as the Master of the BBQ, he spoiled many a family and friends with a T-Bone steak supper and would just grin whenever he got a complement about the meal or a chuckle out of his company. He was also a softhearted, generous man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Donations in honor of Denis may be made to Debden Cemetery or the Victoire Cemetery.
