Obituary of Aimé Marcel Lavoie

Aimé Lavoie Aimé Lavoie passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, Sask surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of his life was held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Spiritwood, Sask on Monday, December 15th, 2014 with Father Dong Doan as celebrant. Aimé is survived by his loving wife Lorraine of 53 years, his four sons Norman (Suzanne), Ron (Geraldine), Rick (Cindy), Greg (Shelley), six grandchildren, Alain (Hilary), Michelle, Amanda (Daegan), Jacob, Brittany and Makayla. His siblings: Cécile (André) Chalifour of Leoville, SK; Léon Lavoie of Leoville, SK; Agnēs Blough of Edmonton, AB; Irene (Myron) Halko of Ranger, SK; Anna (Marcel) Doucette of Spiritwood, SK; Marie Fontaine of Edmonton, AB and Marie Paule, Gatineau, QUE and many nieces and nephews, extended family and countless friends. Aimé was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Memorial donations in Aimé’s honor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Laventure Cemetery.
