Eulogy for Hercule Larocque: Everyone here in this room, was somehow touched by this special man and has their own special memories. Hercules Joseph Larocque was born March 21st, 1924 in St. Victor, Saskatchewan to Marie and Frank Larocque. August 11th, 1949, Herc married Cora Jane Brown and together they had five children, thirteen Grandchildren and twelve Great-Grandchildren. Grandpa had 3 passions in life, other than his family: Auction Sales, the Rodeo and Music. One thing is for sure, Grandpa loved stuff. His boxes of useless treasure are still evident in the three car garage that only houses one vehicle. No matter, when or where if there was a Rodeo, Grandpa would be there. And every Rodeo he went to, he was sure to know someone. Grandpa's greatest passion was his love for music. Whether it was sitting around the kitchen table jamming with a friend, or playing with the Parkland Fiddlers. One of Charlene's fondest memories of Grandpa playing the fiddle was when Cory was about 4 or 5. Grandpa got out the fiddle and was tuning it before playing. After the tuning was done Cory turned to Grandpa and said "Grandpa, can't you play any better than that." His music always touched our hearts. We will always listen for a good tune to tap our toes along with him. Thank you to everyone for coming out today, to share in our memories of Grandpa.
