Obituary of Clarence Russell Beebe

Clarence Russell Beebe was born in the Laventure District on May 17th, 1928, the youngest of 8 children to Russell William and Anne Beebe. He passed away in Big River on February 23rd, 2015 at the age of 86. Clarence spent his life cutting cordwood and ranching. He married Vivian Anderson on December 31, 1952; they raised a family of four children. Clarence and Vivian were one of the first homesteaders in the Timberlost district. Family was always very important to Clarence; all of his family and extended family have many precious memories. Many weekends remembered as family time were spent cattle checking, threshing, picking berries, and of course the “Block” reunions. Clarence loved spending time with his family, his friends, travelling with his wife, coffee time at Third 7 Main, and the Esso. Even though he enjoyed their travels he would always add, “But… there’s no place like home.” Clarence is lovingly remembered by: His children: Pearl (Lloyd) Carter of Big River, SK, Rose Henri of Big River, SK, Russell (Pat) Beebe of Big River, SK, Holly (Buster) Reimer of Big River, SK, 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, His brother, Frank Beebe of Leoville, SK, His sister, Ida Ransom of Brampton, ON, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is predeceased by: an infant son, Buddy in 1953, great granddaughter, Chantel Reimer in 2001, grandson-in-law, Kent Wilson in 2001, great granddaughter, Emma Osinchuk in 2003, great grandson, Kaiden Lalonde in 2003. Funeral Service was held for Clarence on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015 in the Big River Community Hall.
