Rocky Roderick Genereaux 1973-2015 On March 13, 2015 Mr. Rocky Roderick Genereaux passed away suddenly in Saskatoon at the age of 42 years. Rocky is lovingly survived by his family: his Parents, Frank & Tammy Genereaux ; his Birth mother, Julia Sanderson; his Children: ~ Jordanna Thomas (Dwight Nicotine) and their son, Kaidyn Nicotine; ~ Isaiah Genereaux; ~ Mya Genereaux; his Brothers ~ Zachary Genereaux (Angel Ahenakew); ~ Dan Genereaux (Cheryl); his Sisters: Prudence Genereaux (Blair MacDonald) ; ~ Shannon McNabb (Christopher Bird); ~ LeeAnn McNabb; ~ Dawn Ahenakew (Roger Ahenakew); ~ Patty Genereaux; ~ Dodie Genereaux; ~ Opal Sanderson; ~ Jamie Sanderson; Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his: Grandfather, Roderick Genereaux; Grandmother, Leita Genereaux; Grandmother, Jane Sanderson; Nephew, T.J. Genereaux; Uncle, Buddy Sanderson; Uncle, Ernie Sanderson; Rocky was born on January 16th, 1973 in Prince George, British Columbia and passed away on March 13th, 2015 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Wake Service for Rocky commenced on Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at 5:00 pm in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation School Gym. The Funeral Service was on Tuesday, March 17th, 2015 ~ 1:00 pm in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall with Burton Ahenakew as officiant. Honorary Pallbearers were Craig Starblanket, Daniel Littlebear, Irvin Bowman, and Gavin Ahenakew & "All who knew and loved him." Pallbearers were Farren Starblanket , Dan Genereaux, Keith Bowman, Cory Ahenakew, Norman Lafond, and Tim Ahenakew. Rocky's final resting place was in the St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery .
