Obituary of Robert George Allchurch

ALLCHURCH, Robert Robert Allchurch was born October 19, 1951, the oldest of Jessie and the late Gilbert Allchurch’s nine children, lost his battle to cancer on March 20th, 2015. His passing will leave a big hole in the family and in his committees. Robert took over the family farm when his father passed away. He was very active with farming, beekeeping, and auction sales. He enjoyed volunteering and teaching firearm safety to the next generations of hunters. Robert was a member of Meeting Lake RM Council for 17 years, a member of the Spiritwood Fire Dept, and also has been Director and treasurer on the Witchekan Lake Wildlife Federation. He was an active member in numerous groups in several committees Robert will be sadly missed at the farm and lovingly remembered by: his mother, Jessie Allchurch, his sister and brothers: Louise (Lanny) Chernipeski, Denis (Sheila), Terry (Diane), Ken (Donna), Lyle, Howard (Ruth), Maurice (Pam), Warren ``Jim`` (Tanya), numerous nieces, nephews, step-nieces and nephews, his uncles, Ron Vorachek, Ted Vorachek, his aunts, Ruth Obromiak and Edna Vorachek and numerous cousins. Robert is pre-deceased by his father, Gilbert Allchurch, his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Jesse Vorachek, his paternal grandparents, Wilson and Sara Allchurch, his uncle, George (Gwen) Allchurch, his aunt, Ann Streadwich, his uncle, Mike Obromiak. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 6th, 2015 at 1:30pm in the Mayfair Community Hall, Mayfair, SK.
