Obituary of Milton Russel Egg

EGG, Milton Milton Russel Egg was born in Leask on April 28th, 1925 and passed away peacefully in Kinistino on April 7, 2015 at the age of 89, three weeks from his 90th birthday. Milton is survived by his sons: Calvin (Wendy) Egg, Lyle (Jackie) Egg, his grandchildren: Brandi, Jesse, Jessica, Kayla (Jon), Rychelle, and Calvin Jr, his great-grandchildren; Lucas, Ronan, Braxton and Aurora, his nieces and nephews: Dianne(Harvey) Pollock, Brian(Carlene) Wilson, Norman(Lynn) Wilson, Arlene(Gordon) Mclaughlin and Linda(John) Garden. Milton was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Eileen in March of 2013, also predeceased by his siblings; Nellie Cragg, Mildred Wilson, Ralph Egg, Ivy Mcdonald, Alma Egg and Olivia Egg. Milton was born in Leask to Frederick and Elizabeth. Milton met his wife Eileen in Waskesiu and they married on July 2, 1954 in Leask. They raised two sons, worked together farming and also in the family SGI business. Milton and Eileen attended the Knox United Church in Leask and had a dear love for the Lord. Milton was such an inspiration to his sons and everyone who met him. He was always happy and left everyone he met with a smile as well. Dad finished the race and won! He has gone home to be with Eileen, his faithful wife of so many years. Theirs was a love many could only dream of. Bless you Dad. We will see you soon! The Memorial Service for Milton took place on Saturday the 18th day of April at 2:00pm from the Leask Community Hall in Leask, SK.
