Obituary of Ervin Robert Matzner

ERVIN MATZNER 1935 - 2015 The family of Ervin Matzner sadly announce his demise on April 20, 2015 in a Saskatoon Hospital. He was born May 19, 1935 in Abbotsford, B.C. He and his parents returned to Saskatchewan in 1938. In the fall of 1940, they moved north to live on the SE1/4 of Sec.2- TWP54-W3rd; this was his home for the rest of his life. Ervin is lovingly remembered by: his wife, Evelyn, three sons; Robert (Juliette), Ross (Tammy), Leo (Francine), his brothers: Walter (Helen), Harry (Louise), Gerald (Lela) and Donald (Kathy), numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives. Ervin is predeceased by: his son, Kelly, his parents, Alois & Sarah Matzner, his parents-in-law, Ernest & Mildred Dutnall. A Memorial Service entrusted to Ed Beaulac of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home Ltd of Spiritwood was conducted by Delores Beaulac on April 25th, 2015 in the Chitek Lake Community Hall. Special music was played by Phil Marion, the eulogy given by Carrie and Stephanie Matzner, the Urn Bearer was Jonathan Matzner. Memorial donations in Ervin’s honor may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a Charity of the Donor’s choosing.
