Obituary of Nancy Sandry

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nancy Sandry announce her passing on the 24th day of April 2015 at the age of 71 years. The funeral service in honor of Nancy will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church in Big River, SK with Pastor Jake McCrea officiating. Nancy is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Lawrence Sandry of Big River, Norman Sandry of Big River, her sisters, Pat(Ron) Kristian of Prince Albert, Margaret (Lee) Donald of Big River, her special aunt Ella Leach, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Jim and Doris, sister Ethel Sandry, brother-in-law Paul Besson, great nephews, Damien Sandry and Matthew Kristian, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nancy was born and raised in Big River. Nancy suffered a stroke at the age of 43, which left her with limited mobility and she spent the next eighteen years in a private care home in Prince Albert. In 2004 she moved into the Big River Lakewood Lodge for the remainder of her life. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, crafts, playing bingo, and many other activities that the home had to offer. Special thanks to all the staff for making the Lodge her home.
