BETKER, Lucy nee:Crawford Lucy was born February 13th, 1924 in Mont Nebo, Saskatchewan, she passed away May 12th, 2015 in the Wheatland Lodge in Leask, Saskatchewan at eth age of 91. She is predeceased by: Her husband, Rudolph (1979), Her sons, Maurice (2007), Roy (2003) and infant daughter (1956), Her siblings: Vera, Raymond and Donald, Her siblings in-law, Joe Fusick, Vern McKay and Lorraine Crawford. Lucy is lovingly remembered by: Her children:, Marvin Betker of Leask, SK, Gloria (David) Dawson of Rosthern, SK, Judy Jordan (Rick Maines) of Saskatoon, SK, Brenda Betker (Les Jessop) of Lloydminster, Sk, Her grandchildren: Hayley Dawson (Tom Flemington) of Warman, SK, Chris Jordan of Saskatoon, SK, Her great grandson, Zack Flemington, Her siblings: Arthur Crawford; Roy (Clara) Crawford; Della McKay; Joyce Fusick. A Funeral Service was held in her honor on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at the St. Henry’s RC Church in Leask, Saskatchewan officiated by Pastor Lorne Valuck. Honor Guard by the Royal Canadian Legion—Leask Branch. Lucy was laid to rest in the Leask Cemetery.
