Obituary of Frances Dolores Weal

Frances was born Sept 17, 1941, the youngest of 12 siblings. Raised in the Woodhill district and then Chitek Lake. She married Robert Weal on Oct 8, 1960. Their family started in Chitek with Ruth and Albert. Moving to Calgary July 1, 1962, they quickly added to the family with Elaine, Fern, Darlene, and Robby. She was a busy Mom!!!! Frances was very generous and loved being a homemaker. She also babysat many of her nieces and nephews and then their children. She was THE best babysitter. Kids loved going there. Every Sunday meant a picnic, countless hours of playing games of marbles, card games and going swimming with her kids, and later with her grand-children and great grandchildren. She was an avid bowler in Calgary. Proud moment when she bowled a 300 - just 2 pins short of a perfect game, earning her Bowler of the Month. In 1979 they returned to Chitek Lake. Frances loved being with family, always made time to visit. She became a member of face book so she could keep 'in the know' on what was happening in her family's lives. Frances was famous for her home made noodles. She enjoyed blueberry picking - so much so that an allergy to bug bites did not stop her. She'd grab her blanket, pack a lunch, grab her Epi-pen, and she was good to go. She loved crafts, bingo, scratchies, and casino, and loved to travel! She loved Costa Rica and was just so thankful she was able to see so much. She was a wonderful Grandmother, very proud of each and every one of the 12 grand-children and 10 great grandchildren. She also liked to bend the rules when it came to them. She treated them to bingo, lunch at the cafe, yummy treats, & garage sales - Sparing no expense with money or HUGS. "Amazing woman" is how her daughters and sons in law describe her. "You just couldn't ask for a better Mother In Law. Frances is lovingly remembered by: her husband of 54 years, Bob, her children: Ruth (Rudy) Woll, Albert (Julie) Weal, Mylo Dease, Fern (Warren) Boyer, Darlene (Norbert) Loiselle, Robbie (Tamika) Weal, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her siblings: Marion Racine, Patricia Dougan, Shirley (Jack) Morin, Doug (Adele) Vandale, Larry (Margaret) Vandale, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends. She was laid to rest with family in the Peaceful Pines Cemetery. This woman, so full of life, met her biggest challenge this past year. She was diagnosed with cancer and then with a rare debilitating muscle disorder that strikes one in a million people. We didn't need a disease to tell us you ARE one in a million! We love you. Gonna miss your sweet smile and giggle. Rest in peace. Private email condolences to www.beaulacfuneralhome.com will be forwarded to Frances’ family. Donations in memory of Frances can be made to a Charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to Brenda Beaulac of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, Spiritwood, SK 306-883-3500
