Obituary of Kelly Rae Monkman

Kelly Rae Monkman 1961 – 2015 Kelly passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK on June 20, 2015 after being diagnosed with cancer on June 1, 2015. She was born in Prince Albert on November 23, 1961 to Stan and Addline Monkman. Kelly had a strong work ethic and worked hard all her life. She worked as a housekeeper at the Imperial 400 Motel, Budget Inn, Days Inn, and lastly Community Service Center. Kelly enjoyed looking after her birds “Tweety” and “Violet”. She was a huge Roughrider Fan, enjoyed watching hockey, going to car shows, concerts, and taking pictures. Kelly loved long walks, stopping to take pictures of flowers and birds. She loved family gatherings, snapping pictures of everyone. There was always a “thank you” for any simple act. We thank you Kelly for being such a wonderful daughter and sister. I can almost hear you say I’m sorry for making everyone cry. Until we meet again, love you always. Kelly will be lovingly remembered by her parents Stan and Addline (Juzkow) Monkman; her sister Danica (Joe) Jessie; her uncle Joe (Jean) Juzkow; her aunts Minnie (Erling) Olsen, Marie MacFarlane, Lorraine Rodgers and Maxine Juzkow as well as numerous cousins and friends, and special friends Rhonda & Perry Trusty. Kelly was predeceased by an infant brother Anthony; grandparents Theodore and Anna (Zaychkowski) Juzkow and Roy & Beatrice (Cox) Monkman; uncles Walter and Eddie Juzkow and uncle Bud MacFarlene and “Tweety.” A Come and Go Celebration of Kelly's life will be held between 2:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday July 11, 2015 at Mont St Joseph Home, 777-28th Street East Prince Albert, SK. Everyone is welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
