Ted Kwasnica
1925- 2015
Ted passed away peacefully with family at his side on July 29, 2015 at the Birchview Nursing Home, in Birch Hills, SK. He was born on March 11, 1925 in Wakaw, SK to Peter and Alice Kwasnica. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Debra Kwasnica, and her daughter Sherry Stone (Neeraj Singh); his son Ted Kwasnica and family Rachel McMillan- Payne (Steve Payne) and their children Tanner & Kylie, Kari Kwasnica and her daughter Sarah, Ryan (Mandy) Kwasnica, Amanda (Dave) Mehner and their children Ainsley & Mackenzie; his daughter Rose (Jim) Chubak and their family Tara Kulcher and children Matthew & Jaelynn, Mascene Popil, and Myra (Cameron) Tweidt and children Alandria, Mallory, and Thoren; his daughter Susan (Tracy) Betteridge and family Karlene (Jamie) Pitze and Michael Betteridge; his brothers John Kwasnica and Miro ( Ruth ) Kwasnica as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Ted was predeceased by his wife Bernice, parents Peter & Alice, sisters Rose (Ed) Ritchie, Mary Oran (Norman Moody), Lena (Harold) Wick, Eve (Larry) Sullivan, sister-in-law Lorna Kwasnica, and nephew Brian Sullivan. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday August 4, 2015 at the Wakaw United Church Cemetery with Father Michael Lomaszkiewicz officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Wakaw Legion Hall. Donations in Ted’s memory may be directed to the Birchview Nursing Home.
