Obituary of David Wallace Bird

David Wallace Bird 1948 - 2015 On Thursday, September 24, 2015 Mr. David Wallace Bird, late of Sherbrooke Community Center in Saskatoon, passed away at the age of 67. David was born on August 28, 1948 in Mistawasis First Nation to Melassippi Watson & Emma Charles. David will be lovingly survived by, his children, Corie-Ann Sanderson, Katie Sanderson, Debra (Pierre) Sanderson, Lisa, Sunshine Ballantyne; his brothers, John (Marlene) Watson, Rainee Bird; his sisters, Eva Bird, Evelyn (Robert) Bird; his very special grandchildren, Kayla Sanderson, Joshua Moosomin, and 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. David was predeceased by his siblings, Soloman, Margaret, Jeanette, Christina, James, Blanche, Richard, George, Yvonne, one boy in infancy; His parents Melassippi Watson and Emma Charles. Davids wake services commenced on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 and the Funeral service was on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with both services taking place at the Mistawasis Family Centre with Rev. Amanda Currie officiating both services. Interment took place in the Mistawasis Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Colton Sanderson, Eagle Bird, Josh Moosomin, Everette Denago, Shane Sanderson, and Jerry Bird.
