Obituary of William Gordon Barsi

William "Gordon" Barsi September 25, 1927 - December 17, 2015 With family by his side Gordon passed away on December 17th, 2015 at the age of 88. The Funeral Service for Gordon was held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Leask Gospel Tabernacle in Leask, SK officiated by Pastor Claude Tucker. Joyce Pitzel played the piano while Brent Cooper led the congregational hymns, and Lorne and Donna Valuck and Lorraine Toth each sang special tributes. The eulogy was read by Lorne Valuck. Pallbearers were family and close friends, Wendell Barsi, Darren Barsi, Walker Barsi, Lorne Valuck, Keith Ranger and Vern Unyi. Gordon was laid to rest in the Leask Cemetery. Gordon is lovingly remembered by: his loving wife of 53 years, Violet, his children: Wendell (Lorelie) Barsi from Saskatoon, SK and their family: Walker and Arieanna, Darren Barsi of Edmonton, AB. He is predeceased by: his parents, Valentine and Margaret Barsi and his son, Garth. Memorial donations may be directed to the Leask Gospel Tabernacle.
