Allan "Chi-Chi" McAdam With heavy hearts the family of Allan "Chi-Chi" McAdam, late of Big River First Nation sadly announce his sudden passing on January 1, 2016 at the age of 54 years. Allan was born July 9, 1961 in Taber, Alberta to Alexander & Freda Albert. Allan is lovingly survived by his wife, Rosemarie Smallboy-McAdam; his children, Travis Smallboy (Elvisa Smallboy); Jennifer Smallboy (Evan); Cheryl Smallboy; Jessica Smallboy (Greg Morin); Alana Smallboy; Jaylene Smallboy; his foster kids, Blake Hunt & Selena Ross; his grandchildren, Lakiesha, Sierra, Tavontay, Travez, Tevez, Osbourne (J.R.); Kayzen; Jarren; Julian; Craig and Lebron; his mother, Freda McAdam; his siblings, Clara McAdam; Clarence McAdam; Sharon McAdam (Wilfred Rabbitskin), Sandra Lewis (Irvin); Linda McAdam (Bernie Weigers), Archie McAdam (Shawna); his adopted sister, Shirley Morin; his adopted brother, Johnny Angus; his aunties, Edna Albert; Helen Albert; Christina Poorman; numerous other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by, his father, Alexander McAdam; his brother, Arthur McAdam; his paternal grandparents, William & Margaret McAdam; his maternal grandparents, George & Anna Albert; his sister, Lillian McAdam; his nephews, William Rabbitskin & Lance Thomas; his aunt and uncles, Edward Albert; Leonard Albert; Ivan Albert; Conrad Albert; John George Albert; Rema Lavallee; his brothers in-law, Leonard and Larry Smallboy; his sister in-law, Bertha Smallboy; his inlaws, Dora Smallboy & Joe Rediron. The Wake Service for Chi-Chi commenced in the Big River First Nation Hall on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. The Funeral Service took place on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.also in the Big River First Nation Band Hall. Allan was laid to rest in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery. The active pallbearers were, Dereck Lachance, Ervin Lewis, Dean Rabbitskin, Tyler Smallboy, Sam McAdam, Wilfred Rabbitskin.
