Obituary of (Peter) Walter Fertuck

(Peter) Walter Fertuck At 85 years of age, Walter passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 at the Idylwild Lodge in Spiritwood. Walter was born June 11, 1930 in Arelee, SK on the homestead where he was raised until venturing out to Sonningdale SK. During this time he met his future wife Lois Murdoff and began his family and career as an elevator agent. In 1980 Walter transferred to Leoville SK where he continued his career as grain buyer until his retirement. Walter filled his retirement with all the things he loved; whether it was helping his friends and neighbors, long days of hunting and fishing, a quick game of bingo, or teaching his grandkids the way around the garden. He always had something to teach, from the correct way of cutting the grass, to the perfect way to pick and clean berries. Forever in our hearts and always remembered by his three children, Darrell, Brian and Lori along with their families. Reunited with his wife and son, Walter can continue his journey, until we meet again. Memorial Donations may be made to the Idylwild Lodge Auxiliary in Spiritwood or the Evergreen Health Center Auxiliary in Leoville.
