Obituary of Kenneth Herbert Middlebrooks
Kenneth Middlebrooks, age 86 passed away surrounded by his children on January 13, 2016. He was born on November 10, 1929 and grew up on a farm in the Spruce Home area. He travelled frequently in his younger years, making extended stays in Montreal and Nova Scotia where he met his wife Judy. Ken and Judy were married in 1972. Sadly, Judy passed away just 15 months ago, and Ken missed her dearly. Ken was also predeceased by his parents Alma & William John; brothers William, Almer and Les; and his sister Beatrice. He is survived by his children Cara (Robert), Brian (Danica) and Crystal; his grandchildren Colton and Bristol; his brother David and sisters Elsie, Cleva and Bernice, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken was happiest when visiting friends and family. He loved making other people (and himself) laugh. In addition, he loved photography, airplanes, telling jokes, and sharing his belief in the creator and hope for a new system of things where death and suffering would be no more. Ken was described as a kind man to all who knew him. His humour, optimism, generosity and faith in the creator positively affected many people from all walks of life. A memorial service will be held in his honour at 2:00pm on Saturday February 6, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Highway 2 South, Prince Albert, SK.
