Obituary of Ashley Annie Sanderson

Ashley Annie Sanderson August 4, 1983 - March 4, 2016 It is with deep sadness that the family of Ashley Annie Sanderson announce that she passed away suddenly on Friday morning March 4, 2016 on the Big River First Nation. Ashley was born on August 4, 1983 to Evelyn Sanderson and Mervin McAdam. The wake service for Ashley began at 7:30 in the evening of March 8, 2016 at the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The funeral service for Ashley commenced at 11:00AM on March 9, 2016 at the Big River First Nation Band Hall with the Elders officiating. Interment followed in the Big River First Nation Anglican Cemetery. Ashley is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Cynthia (Gerald), DJ, Brandi, Angel (Darryl), Amy and Jasmine; her father Mervin McAdam; her adoptive mom Doris Rabbitskin (Harry Bill); her adoptive sisters: Marcella, Tina, April and Rhonda; her grandma Annie Sanderson as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins; her special friend Romeo Quinn and all who knew and loved Ashley and shared in her life. Although Ashley did not bear any children, she had such a kind and open heart toward her nieces and nephews. She loved them all as her own. Ashley is predeceased by her mother Evelyn Sanderson; her brother Jesse; her grandpa Roy Sanderson; great grandma Amy Whitefish and great grandfather Sydney Iron Bow; great, great grandmother Mary Whitefish.
