With great sadness the family of Arnold Raymond Buck announce his passing on the 18th day of June 2016 at Prince Albert, SK. Arnold was born on December 24th 1932 on the farm in Shell Lake to Tom & Mary Buck. Arnold lived his life a farmer, no matter where his journey in life took him. He spent many years sawing logs around the district. He was a devoted father to his two sons (Gerald & Ron) and his daughters (Melvina, Marlene & Pat) and his extended family were like his own. He was well known for his manufacturing of gate openers, as well as his prize tin men and bird houses. Arnold enjoyed life to the fullest, his important things were his smokes, drinks and grandkids.
Arnold is lovingly remembered by: his partner, Aline Allard of Spiritwood, SK; the mother of his children, Melva Horn of Saskatoon, SK; his daughter Melvina (Roger) Rocheleau of Saskatoon, SK and family: Michael (Tiana) and children, McKayla, Jordon, Aurora; Randy (Dawn) and children, Lane, Jeremiah, Sierra, Koda, Hanna; Melanie and children, Jaydon, Wyatt; Jeffery (Cory) and children, Rylee, Amber; his son Gerald (Lorie) Buck of Mildred, SK and their daughter: Chelsey (Dayton); his daughter Marlene (Andy) Sanders of Saskatoon, SK and family: Trina (Rob) Fournier and children, Taylor, Regan ; Trevor (Jamie) Sanders; his daughter Pat (Larry) Neurauter of Mildred, SK and family: Jamie (Brad) and children, Shelby, Sam, Addy; Leslie (Jolene) and children, Logan, Cooper; Donald (Suzie) and son, Caleb; Bradley; his son Ronald of Sylvan Lake, AB and family: Tammy; Jody (Rachel) and children, Riley, Ayla-Mae. His step-children: Colin (Shelley) Allard of Spiritwood, SK and family: Nicholas and Megan; Elise (Fred) Meister of Radisson, SK and family: Monique; Luke (Alex); Allison; Leon Allard of Spiritwood, SK; Lynne Allard of Spiritwood, SK; Nicole (Chuck) Lerat of Rosthern, SK and family: Josephine (Matt); Jayme; Chelsey (Ryan) and son, Kyron; Nikki (Ryan); Melanie (Graham) Smith of Saskatoon, SK and family: Jade (Kyron); Jean. His siblings: Delmer Buck of 100 Mile House, BC, Ruth (Al) Mondor of Edmonton, AB and Grace Zackodonik of Edmonton, AB. An abundance of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arnold is predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Mary Buck and his siblings: Wilbert, Donald, Alex, Elmer, Stanley, Merle and Joyce.
A memorial service for Arnold was held on June 24, 2016 at the Spiritwood Curling and Bowling Mezzanine in Spiritwood, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were “All of Arnold’s Grandchildren.” Michael Rocheleau & Jody Buck were the Urn Bearers. Memorial donations in Memory of Arnold may be made to the Diabetes Association.
