Obituary of Jean E. Clark

Jean E. Clark June 10, 1927 - July 20, 2016 It is with deep sadness that the family of Jean Clark announces that she passed away on July 20, 2016 at age 89. Jean is greatly missed by all her family and many friends. Jean was born on June 10, 1927 to James and Minnie (nee: Lyall) Elder. At a young age Jean met and married her life partner, Keith Clark. Together they raised a family of eight children. Her greatest pride was her family. She always loved to have her family come home to visit. Jean loved cooking, gardening, her flowers and working on the farm with Keith for as long as they were able to. She also loved to and always made time to play with the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean is lovingly remembered by: her children: Vern (Doris) Clark of Saskatoon, SK; Richard (Barbara) Clark of Shellbrook, SK; Linda (Ken) Hill of Spiritwood, SK; Mike (Martha) Clark of East end, SK; Judy Brule (Rod) of Spiritwood, SK; Robert (Verna) Clark of Stony Plain, AB; Marion (Darren) Maschmeyer of Bruderheim, AB; and David (Janet) Clark of Shell Lake, SK. Also, her grandchildren: Shannon (Glen) Caffet and children, Tyler, Tetinya and Dyson; Pernel (Karen) Hill and children, Charis & Riley; Keitha Clark (Bruce) Dent and children, Rowen & Malcom; Shawn Clark; Tammy (Kyle) Bunbury and children, Tristen & Callie; Terry Hyggen; Jeff Hyggen (Lonneke) and children, Marieke, Annamieke & Sebastian; Lisa Brulé (Andrew); Michelle Brulé (Riley); Jason Clark; Chessie Clark (Rick); Gabrielle Maschmeyer (Matt) and son, Maximus; Clayton Clark (Sara); Lowen Clark; Jodie Clark; Daniel Clark; and Jennifer Clark; a special niece, Sandra Lang and family; as well as an abundance of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jean is predeceased by: her husband, Keith clark; her parents, James and Minnie Elder; her sisters, Peggy (Leonard) Letkeman and Elizabeth (Chris) Schwartz; and her infant brother, David Elder. The memorial service for Jean was held at the Shell Lake Lion's Hall at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 25th, 2016 with Pastors Dave Jensen and Brad Wudrick officiating. Scripture was read by Vern Clark. Patty Heisler was the soloist and special music was Keitha Clark playing “The Old Log Cabin”. The eulogy was presented by Robert Clark and Judy Brule. The honorary pallbearers were “All relatives and friends who knew and loved Jean. The urn bearers were Pernel Hill and Jeff Hyggen. Interment followed at the Shell Lake Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society.
