I'm so sad to hear of his passing. I work at the Industrial Hemp Section at Health Canada and was wondering why I didnt hear from him this year. He was a great guy to speak with, so selfless. My sincerest condolences.
To the Horn Family. My greatest sympathy to the family of Dale. I just heard of Dale's passing and am so saddened by this news. I first met Dale at the Indian Head Toastmasters group of which I was a member. As Dale's speeches were often about his his work as an agrologist and his involvement in the Hemp industry. I named him Mr. Hemp. I was so taken with his ability and drive to become so knowledgeable about all aspects of the hemp industry. I am the real estate agent that help Dale find his home in Indian Head. It was so important that it be the right place for his son to come and visit him. Dale was always learning something new from Barbecue style cooking to growing different kinds of Roses. I will miss bumping into him with his big grin and bouncy on the go style. my name is Jennifer and I am an Agronomist in the Hemp Industry. I wanted to send a message to wish my condolences to Dale's family and friends. Hearing of his passing is tragic and has affected many of us. I started in the hemp industry last June and Dale was someone who I met early on and who become a quick friend. We bonded over our passion for the hemp industry, gardening and enjoying the little things in life. Dale was someone who was always open to sharing his experience and insight along with having some good laughs between it all.

I don't have the words to express the shock and sorrow to hear of Dale's passing.
I had the good fortunate to work with Dale on a number of projects and committees for the hemp sector. I so enjoyed his enthusiasm and his friendship. Our calls would often be long and deviate 'all over the map' but I would never leave a call after speaking with Dale without just a little piece of his energy and enthusiasm.
He made a significant contribution to the hemp industry and was always willing to offer a helping hand, advice and simply roll up his shirt sleeves and get the job done.
He will not be forgotten and I personally will always cherish the fact that he was my friend.
