Obituary of David Richinski

David (Dave) Wayne Richinski It is with heavy hearts and deepest sadness that we announce the passing of David (Dave) Wayne Richinski on Wednesday the 31st of August, 2016 at the age of 57. Dave is survived by his loving wife Sandra of 32 years, and his daughters Erin (Monty) of Prince George, Jessica of Prince George and Ashley (Eric) of Edmonton, his grandchildren, Morgan (Cody), Karley and Graydon, his brothers, Fred (Kathy) of Saskatoon, Richard (Sandy) of Spruce Grove, his sisters, Iris of Calgary, Nikki (Jim) of Mississauga, and Frances of Edmonton and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. David was predeceased by his loving parents Nicholas & Olga, his brothers Leonard and Robert and brother-in-law Walter. For 24 years, Dave served as General Manager at the Sandman Inn in Prince George, BC. He worked tirelessly and took great pride in all his personal and professional successes. He was a life-long fan of the Maple Leafs and his home province Saskatchewan Roughriders. He loved spending time at the family lake house, “Los Sanctus” where he constantly dreamed of new projects. Dave always had something on the go! Dave was a man of strong will and some might say a tough exterior, however those who knew him best could not ignore his genuine kindness, witty sense of humour, huge heart and his ability to love with every piece of it. It was no secret that his family was his greatest honour in life and he did not let a day go by without letting everyone know it. He will be dearly missed. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Leoville, Saskatchewan. Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 13th at 6pm in the Great Room at the Sandman Signature, Prince George.
