Obituary of Anna Crashley

Marie Yolande “Anna’ Crashley 1934 - 2016 Anna Crashley passed away peacefully at the Herb Bassett Home on Thursday November 3, 2016. She was born on September 7, 1934 in Wanakena, SK on a farm near Debden to John and Delina Dalton. She lived there with her Mom and Dad and seven brothers and sisters, Joe, Marie, Helen, Bertha, Fred Gloria and Arthur. Anna married her beloved husband Glen in 1955. They settled in the Ladder Valley Disrtict, where they farmed for many years. They were blessed with three children, Dwayne, Howard and Karen. Anna stayed at home raising her children, running the house and farm, later on they sold the farm and moved to Big River. After Glen passed away, Anna moved to Prince Albert, then to Paradise Path at Herb Bassett Home. Anna is survived by her three children: Dwayne (Wenda Millard) of Oliver BC, Howard (Debbie) of Regina SK and Karen of Prince Albert, SK; her grandchildren Alexis, Chelsea, Brittany, Louwana, Terry, Josh, Danny and all their loving partners; her great grandchildren Reise, Alyssa, Tristen, Vienna and Sydney; her sister Gloria Marchand. Anna was predeceased by her husband Glen, her parents John and Delina Dalton, brothers Joe, Herman, Fred and Arthur and sisters Marie, Helen and Bertha. Anna enjoyed reading, knitting and loved spending time with the grandkids so she could spoil them. Memorial donations in Anna’s memory can be directed to Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan Inc. 1405 Faulkner Crescent Saskatoon, SK S7L 3R5. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at the Big River Cemetery with Reverend Sharon Kuhn officiating.
