Mervin Dennis Ahenakew 1939 - 2016 Mervin Dennis Ahenakew late of Saskatoon passed away at the age of 77 years on December 2, 2016. Mervin Dennis Ahenakew was born on May 4, 1939 in Sandy Lake, SK. The Wake Services for Mervin will commence at 1:00 p.m. from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall on Sunday, December 4, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m.on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Band Hall with interment taking place in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery. Dennis is lovingly survived by his children, Clayton (Carol), Clinton (Roxanne), Cheryl and Calvert. Dennis is predeceased by his wife Ina, sons Claude and Charlton and parents Jehu and Alma Ahenakew.
