Shorty Thomas 1958-2016 The family of Shorty Thomas of Pelican Lake First Nation wish to announce his passing on the 28th day of December 2016 at the age of 58 years. Shorty is lovingly remembered by: His daughter, Peggy Sue and her 2 children of Witchekan Lake FN; His mother, Mrs. Mary R. Thomas; His brothers: David (Denise) Thomas, Bob Thomas, Michael (Freda) Thomas, Brian (Louise) Thomas & Johnny Thomas; A special nephew, Roy Wolfe; His sisters: Trina (Clifford) Thomas, Roseanne Thomas, Keeshay Holly Thomas. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is predeceased by: his father, Roy Thomas in 1973; His brother, Ronnie Thomas in 2002; His sister, Doris Thomas in 2003; His sister, Rose Elaine Marie Thomas in 2016; His paternal grandparents, Tom and Nora Thomas; His maternal grandparents, Shorty and Jane Jim; His nieces, Tracey Scott, Trisha and nephew, Robbie as well as other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The Wake Service commenced on Thursday, December 29th, 2016 at 6:00 pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31st, 2016 at 11:00 am with both services held from the Pelican Lake First Nation Band Hall.
