Obituary of George Raymond Boisson
George Boisson
1927-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of George Boisson announce his peaceful passing 9 days short of his 95th birthday at the Victoria Hospital on January 12, 2017. Born to Raymond and Agatha Boisson on January 21, 1922 in Kinistino; he was one of 9 children. George farmed for many years in the Kinistino area and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. George started his own business with his sons and delivered merchandise to various businesses. When the boys were growing up he coached them in baseball. Even when the grandkids were growing up he didn't miss a ball or hockey game. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy...there was hardly a weekend that he was without one of the grandkids. George is survived by his sons Wayne (Fern) and grandkids Stacey (Greg), Carla (Ryan), Haley (Nevin); Lorraine and grandkids Cory (Taryn), Robby (Shawna), Cindy (Kirk); Kelly (Karen) and grandkids Darcy (Sherri), Brittany (Keith), Michelle (Devon); his daughters Wanita (Reg) and grandkids Julia and Shaun (Ashlee); and Darlene grandkids Tricia (Andy) and Mitch, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and 3 brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Florence (nee Deschambeault); son Daniel Boisson and 5 brothers and sisters. At the request of George, a private interment will follow at a later date.
