Obituary of Dennis Dale Johnstone

Dennis Dale Johnstone 1968 – 2017 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dennis Dale Johnstone of Mistawasis First Nation regret to announce his passing on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 in Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon at the age of 48 years. Dennis was born on December 1, 1968 in Shellbrook, SK. to Alvin and Dorothy Johnstone making their family complete. He grew up on Mistawasis First Nation and attended school in Leask. He loved to read the Bible. His three children, and grandson were the world to him. He would spend as much time with them as possible. Dennis leaves to cherish his memory; his parents, Alvin and Dorothy Johnstone, his children; Jamie Ahenakew, Kristen Ahenakew, Marissa Ahenakew, his grandson, Aiden Ahenakew, his two brothers and three sisters and many other relatives and friends who knew and loved him. The Wake will commence on Saturday, Feb. 18th in the Mistawasis First Nation School Gym at 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 20th in the Mistawasis F.N. School Gym at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Flannery as officiant. The interment will be in the Mistawasis Presbyterian Cemetery.
