Obituary of Roger Morin

Roger Morin October 4, 1952 - February 20, 2017 With sadness the family of Roger Morin announce that he passed away in the evening of February 20th, 2017 with his family by his side. Roger was born in Big River, Saskatchewan to Wilson and Madeline (nee: Rabbitskin) Morin, one of twelve children. Roger is remembered by his children: Delores (Paul) Rabbitskin, Edward Keenatch, Pauline Keenatch, Harvey (Cindy) Keenatch, Lonnie (April) Lachance, Clayton Keenatch, Arlene (Travis) Morin, Reuben (Amelia) Morin, Melissa (Trevor) Morin, Amanda (Russel) McAdam, 55 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He is also remembered by his siblings: Roy (Janelle) Morin, Robert (Lorraine) Morin, Euclid (Eileen) Morin, Maurice (Cecilia) Morin, Ralph (Karen) Morin, Lawrence Morin, Michael Morin, Darlene (Jerry) Mistickokat, Nelson (Lillian) Morin, Iona Morin, and Rodney (Charlotte) Morin as well as 3 aunts: Alice Morin, Edna Albert and Theresa Rabbitskin and numerous other relatives. Roger is predeceased by: his parents, Wilson and Madeline Morin; his wife, Lillian McAdam; his daughter, Sheila Morin; his paternal grandparents, Gearge and Dora Morin; his maternal grandparents, Francis and Helen Rabbitskin; his sisters, VerniceMorin and Liza Morin; his adopted brother, Fred Lecendre; his aunts, Cecilia Masuskapoe and Agnes Lachance; his uncles, Jim Morin, Solomon Morin, Robert "Alec" Morin, David Rabbitskin, Albert Rabbitskin, Leonard Albert and Albert Morin, his nieces and nephews, Cindy Weenonis, Luke and Lucas; and his grandchildren, Diane Keenatch and Liam Blessing Masuskapoe. The wake service for Roger will start at 5:00PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The funeral service for Roger will commence at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Big River First Nation Band Hall officiated by the Elders.
