It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Ralph Stephenson announce his passing on March 6th, 2017 at Spiritwood Health Center at the age of 85 years. He was born December 6th, 1931 at Camp Lake, SK. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Brenda (Ivel) Hotvedt of Lloydminster, SK; Wes Stephenson of Shell Lake, SK; Timothy (Tashia) Stephenson of Shell Lake, SK and Candy (Brad Millard) of Waseca, SK.
His Grandchildren: Nikki (Layne) Allen of Blackfoot, AB; Felicia (Trevor) Spilchuk of Lloydminster, AB; Audrey Hotvedt of Brantford, ON; Rick (Ivy) Hodvedt of Marshall, SK; Michael Perron of Shell Lake, SK; Lakoda Perron of Prince Albert, SK; Destiny Hiembecker of Marwayne, AB; Shelby Hiembecker (Friend Ahmad Almadi) of Ignace, ON; Abby Millard of Waseca, SK; Jamie Millard of Meadow Lake, SK; Savannah Perron of Edmonton, AB; Taylor Fash Perron of Shell Lake, SK; Jayden Stephenson of Shell Lake, SK. His Great Grandchildren: Kasda, Jaysa Allen of Blackfoot, AB; Caitlyn & Kyle Allen of Edmonton, AB; Hunter & Memphis Spilchuk of Lloydminster, AB; Jayde & Solace Hotvedt of Brantford, ON; Ronan, Amaya, Tryn, Tryfen Hotvedt of Marshall, SK; Jaeger Stephenson of Marwayne, AB and Loiseha & Tanin Hotvedt of Lloydminster, SB. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by: his wife Perle Ruth in 2012; a son Steve Allen in 1973; a grandson Jason Hodvedt in 2004; his brother and sister in law James & Violet Stephenson; his sister and brother in law Dorothy & Eddy Ouellette; his nieces Dolores Watier & Doris Watier; his parents Wesley & Margaret Stephenson and his parents in law Louis & Bertha Pelchat.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at1:00 pm from the Seniors Center in Shell Lake, SK with Delores Beaulac as celebrant. The eulogy will be given by Hilda Proulx. Special music selections will be: The Dance, Daddy’s Hands, Grandpa, and Old Rugged Cross. Pallbearers: his grandson Layne Allen, his son in law Brad Millard, his grandson Taylor Fash Perron, his grandson Michael Perron, his nephew Ed Watier, his cousin Brian Pitceathley. Memorial Donations in Ralph’s memory may be made to the Spiritwood Health Complex or the Shell Lake Cemetery. Ralph will be laid to rest in the Shell Lake Cemetery.
