My condolences to you and your family. The first time I met Alica was at Cheshire homes. She was very welcoming and we hit it off. She always made me laugh because she would put the boys in their place and had no problems doing it. I think her having brothers helped with that. He smile was amazing no matter how crummy she felt sometimes she always had that welcoming smile. She was a go getter. If she thought of it she would work hard for it and she would get it. She was a pleasure to work with and we had many wonderful laughs and she was a kinder spirit but she will be forever in our hearts. Alicia always talked about her nephew and niece and really enjoyed being with family. She was a blessing for me to have crossed paths with because Alicia taught me so much about life and how to overcome obstacles and keep trying. I will miss her smile and contagious laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and one day I will meet Alicia again. We have a new Gaurdian Angel watching over us all. It give me peace to know she is with all of you. Thank you for allowing me to have to opportunity to meet Alica and to be a friend and to lean amazing things from her! Hugs to all of you.

I knew Alicia from her time at Cheshire. We also took a class together at university. We weren't close friends but we had some good talks and laughs as we we faced the challenges of living with a disability. She was a prime example of how one should do that. She never let her disability stop her from achieving her goals and dreams. She was beautiful inside and out. She will be missed. Rest easy now Ali.1

Though we really only met for brief moments, Alicia left a lasting impression on me. She was the cutest little girl I had ever seen, as she was only 9 or 10 at the time.
