Obituary of Abram Deidrich Bergen

Abram Deidrich "Dick" Bergen May 28, 1957 - March 24, 2017 With sadness and fond memories the family of Dick Bergen announce that he passed away on March 24, 2017 at the age of 59. Dick was born on May 28, 1957 at Big River, Saskatchewan to Abe and Susie (nee: Veer) Bergen and grew up and lived in the Ladder Valley area. Dick is lovingly remembered by: his wife, Della Bergen ( nee: Smith); his children: Ryan (Mackenzie) Bergen of Big River, SK and their children, Jaycob, Coy, Carly and Jett; Mark (Kelly) Bergen of Big River, SK and their children, Lane, Kara and Devyn; Jason (Kari) Bergen of Mervin, SK and their children Austin, Brooke and Bentley; and Mike (Tamara) Bergen of Carlyle, SK and their children, Lucas and Wyatt. He is also remembered by his siblings, Carol Reimer of Fort McMurray, AB; Joyce Brushett of Red Deer, AB and Ron (Lori) Bergen of Saskatoon, SK as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Dick was predeceased by: his parents, Abe and Susie Bergen; his brother-in-law, Billy Reimer and his parents-in-law, Louis and Evelyn Smith. A memorial service for Dick will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Big River Community Centre with Jason Boucher officiating and Ron Bergen presenting the eulogy. Lunch will follow immediately after the service. Interment will be at a later date in Lake Four Cemetery.
