Obituary of Rose Lillian Beeds

Rose Lillian Beeds March 1, 1940 - June 9, 2017 With great sadness but fond memories the family of Rose Lillian Beeds announce that she passed away peacefully in the evening of Friday, June 9, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Rose was born on March 1, 1940 to Percy and Mary (nee: Umpherville) Bear. She eventually met and married John "Jack" Henry Beeds. Rose is lovingly remembered by: her children, Gerald (Bonnie) Bear of Muskoday First Nation, Mona (Terry) Burridge of Prince Albert, SK, Henry Beeds of Shellbrook, SK, John Beeds of Muskoday First Nation and Steven Bear of Saskatoon, SK; her brothers, Percy Bear of Muskoday First Nation, Floyd (Pearl) Bear of Muskoday First Nation and William (Laura) Bear of Saskatoon, SK; her sistrs, Lucy (Fred Ledoux) of Muskoday First Nation, Marlene Saskamoose of Canwood, SK, Bernikce (Horst) Krause of Saskatoon, SK, Chartlene Demanns of Winnipeg, MB and Joanne Gordon of Winnipeg, MB as well as 5 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nicers and nephews. Rose was predeceased by: her husband, Jack Beeds; her parents, Percy and Mary Bear; her brothers, Lawrence Bear and Rick Demanns and her sister, Linda Bear. The funeral service for Rose will be held in Mont Nebo Community Hall at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 with Simon Squire officiating. The eulogist is her niece, Rhoda Bruneau. The pallbearers are Clayton Bear, Cody Burridge, Kyle Beeds, John Obey, Chad Walter and Percy Bear Jr. Honorary pallbearers are all family and friends who knew and loved Rose. Interment in St. Luke's Cemetery will follow the service and then lunch will be back at the hall. Donations in memory of Rose may be made to the Diabetes Association.
