Obituary of Vera Grace Doell

Vera Grace Doell 1933- 2017 Vera passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 with family at her side at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK following a lengthy battle with cancer. Vera was born to Gladys and Leslie Titemore of Pennant, SK on June 28, 1933. She settled in Prince Albert with her former husband David Mattson, in 1955 where her six children were born. Vera moved to Saskatoon in 1974, and married Ed Doell in 1980. Vera dedicated her life to teaching music, she taught for close to 60 years. Teaching in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Calgary. While in Calgary she enjoyed spending time in the mountains. For every holiday she loved hosting large family dinners which she did until just recently. In the late nineties they moved back to Prince Albert where they resided at her passing. Vera is survived by her husband of 37 years Ed Doell, her children Donna Mattson, Bill (Cindy) Mattson their children Adam, Lisa and Michael; Brian Mattson and his son David; Anne Carter her daughters Erin and Lauren; Bruce (Sheri) Mattson; her step-children Ron Doell and his daughter Vanessa; Sandy (Rick) Thompson and their children David (Julie) and their son DJ, Jesse and Tyler. She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Leslie Titemore, her brother Harold and her sister Glenna Sawyer. Vera was also predeceased by her youngest daughter Susan in 2013. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Calvary United Church, 114- 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Gregg Rustulka officiating.
