Obituary of Karen Lois Pechawis

Karen Lois (Moreau) Pechawis 1955 - 2017 It is with great sadness that the family of Karen Pechawis announce her passing on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. at the age of 62 years. Karen is lovingly remembered by; her children, Shannon (Peter) Moreau, Shawn (Joni) Moreau, Preston Pechawis (Melissa), Carmen Pechawis (Jordan). her step-son; Arend (Jackie) Pechawis, her grandchildren; Tristen, Tavyn, Kelsey, Tishanna, Darcy, Alexa, Dante and Darian. Her siblings; Ruth Nelson, Gary Moreau, Louis (Peggy) Moreau, Ken (Audrey) Moreau, Dean (Shelly) Moreau, Derrick Moreau, Deborah Moreau, Denise Moreau. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Karen was predeceased by; her husband, Leon Pechawis, her parents, Edmond and Antoinette Moreau, her brothers, Gordie Moreau, Wayne Moreau and Dennis (Porky) Moreau, her sisters; Rhonda Moreau and Sharon Moreau, her father-in-law, Arnold Pechawis. The Wake commenced on Friday, August 18, 2017 in the Muskeg Lake First Nation School Gym. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Muskeg Lake School Gym, Muskeg Lake First Nation with Father Frederick Akah officiating. The Honorary Pallbearers are; “All her family and friends who knew and loved her.” The Pallbearers will be Derrick Moreau, Arend Pechawis, Warren Greyeyes, Tristen Moreau, Ryan Watson-Moreau, Trey Moreau. Karen will be laid to her eternal rest beside her husband in Mistawasis Presbyterian Cemetery.
